Bonnie Swanson

Bonnie has been in the event planning business since 1994 working for event venues as well as operating her own event planning business. She completed the George Washington University Event Management Certificate Program. As a Co-Chair of the “Evening on the Riviera” fundraising gala since its inception, Bonnie has helped raise thousands of dollars for local charities. She stays current in the industry by being a member of ISES and AWP. When she isn't planning stellar events, Bonnie enjoys tennis, skiing and traveling.

Susie Chalk

Susie has been in the Event Planning business since 2006 working as a Director of Special Events, Sales and Event Coordination. She attended Towson University where she studied business. When Susie isn’t busy coordinating amazing events, she enjoys spending time at the beach with her family.

Sandy Schubel

Banquet Captain
Sandy has been in the industry for 8 years starting as a server and working her way up to Banquet Captain. She is originally from Frederick Maryland. In her off time she loves to spend time with her husband Alec and two daughters Sarah & Stephanie camping and fishing at the bay.

David joined the Musket Ridge team in early 2008. Hailing from Pittsburgh, PA, David has pursued his passion for the game and golf business with employment through several upscale golf clubs and going through the Professional Golf Management Program at Penn State University. He has been an Assistant Golf Professional at Whistling Straits in Kohler, WI, St. Albans Country Club in St. Louis, MI and River Bend Golf & Country Club in Great Falls, VA. With his experience in the industry, David brings a wealth of knowledge both on and off the course to our guests and staff. He enjoys cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers, Penguins and Pirates and spending time with his wife and two sons.

Josh Ricketts

Josh joined Musket Ridge in 2014 with experience at high-end clubs such as Cattail Creek Country Club, Hollow Creek Golf Club, and Orange County National Golf Center. A graduate of Penn State University and The Golf Academy of America, Josh fell in love with the game of golf early in his career. He has been a PGA professional since 2003 and he gained Class A membership in 2009. Josh spends most of his spare time with his wife and two young children and, as a big sports fan, often volunteers at elementary schools to teach kids about the game of golf.

Vince DiStefano

Superintendent
Vince joined Musket Ridge following eight years as the Superintendent of Blue Ridge Shadows GC in Front Royal, where he grew in the 18 hole golf course and developed the golf course maintenance department. From 1996 to 2005 Vince had an illustrious assistant’s career working at three Top 100 golf courses: Spyglass Hill in Monterey, CA; Eagle Point CC in Wilmington, NC and Shadow Creek in Las Vegas where he oversaw a renovation that brought Shadow Creek back into the Top 20 Best US Courses. Vince enjoys spending time with family, and volunteers with the Boy Scouts. He also loves to play golf.

Kyle Roberson

Executive Chef

Kyle has been a chef in the Baltimore and Washington D.C. areas since 1995. He has prepared meals for top national celebrities and sports figures as well as Congressional dignitaries and local government officials. As part of the Musket Ridge team since 2007, Kyle is central to the Zero Food Waste Initiative, the first of its kind on the East Coast. He oversees the Bokashi process and uses the compost in his organic on-site garden. He is a passionate Baltimore Orioles fan and named his cat Murray after Hall-of-Famer Oriole Eddie Murray.

Kenny Alford

A part of the Musket Ridge team since 2008, Kenny has over nine years of experience in the food service industry. He has served as both a chef and manager at local restaurants and an area golf club. When not in the kitchen, Kenny enjoys playing a round of golf at Musket and fishing on the river with friends.

Brenda Ahalt

Before joining Musket Ridge in 2007, Brenda had over twenty-five years of experience in operational bank management where she was awarded Maryland Banker of the Year by the Maryland Bankers Association. She has served as vice president and secretary of a non-profit banking corporation and holds professional banking credits. Brenda possesses a diploma in paralegal studies. In her free time she enjoys cooking, drawing, painting, reading & relaxing on the beach.
