MYERSVILLE, MD – September 10, 2012 – Musket Ridge is proud to give a complimentary wedding to the deserving couple selected for its second Love & Liberty Wedding Giveaway. Jacqueline Albright and her fiancé, Justin Boone, are both first responders that have served our country in the military. They will be married September 11, 2012 at the award-winning Catoctin Hall at Musket Ridge.
Jacque has served in the military for over 10 years and is a flight nurse in the Air Force Reserves. She has been deployed twice in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, most recently returning from Afghanistan in May, and is currently a critical care nurse at Loudoun Hospital. Justin joined the Marine Corps after 9/11/01 and served as a helicopter Aviation Ordinance Technician through 2005 and completed three deployments to Southeast Asia. Since then he has been a Patrol Deputy for the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.
Jacque and Justin met in 2007 while working security detail (she Air Force, he Sheriff’s Office) for a military conference in Northern Virginia. At the end of the four-day conference he asked for her number and for their first date he traveled 3½ hours to where she lived in West Virginia. They fell in love, Jacque moved to Northern Virginia after less than a year of dating to be with him and Justin supported her through her two deployments and flight school.
Jennifer Appel, a co-worker of Jacque’s, heard about the Love & Liberty Wedding Giveaway and knew exactly who she wanted to nominate. “Jacque is one of the most giving, selfless people I know,” she submitted, noting how both Jacque and Justin have dedicated their lives to serving the United States.
Musket Ridge created the Love & Liberty Wedding Giveaway in 2011 to recognize the bravery of the military and first responders in the 10th anniversary of both the Club and the tragic events of 9/11/01. Damon DeVito, managing director of Affinity Management (www.affinitymanagement.com), which operates Musket Ridge, said, “We again received many well-deserved nominations for the second year of this contest. Jacque and Justin stood out due to their outstanding dedication to their country and communities.”
Musket Ridge will donate a wedding ceremony with sweeping mountain views across one of Maryland’s most beautiful and highly rated golf courses. Their 150 guests will enjoy a seated dinner reception in the light-filled Catoctin Hall and experience exquisite food with superb service. There is no venue fee and all food and non-alcoholic beverages have been donated by Musket Ridge.
“We knew if we wanted to do more than go to the Justice of the Peace we’d have to keep the event small,” said Jacque. “But because of the contest, we are able to have a dream wedding with all our family and friends there! We are so thankful for Musket Ridge and the vendors that are giving their services to us!”
Seven vendors will donate their services to the couple. Jacque will receive a professional makeup application courtesy of Aaren King of MADE Makeup (www.mademakeup.com). The bridal party’s makeup will be done by Trinity Salon and Spa (www.trinitysalonandspa.net), which will also style hair for Jacque and the bridal party. Officiant Norman Ross (firstname.lastname@example.org) will perform the ceremony. Jarrod Wronski from Metro DC DJs (www.metrodcdjs.com) is providing music and uplighting for the reception. Photographers Mary Kate McKenna (www.mkmckenna.com), Kathleen Hertel (www.kathleenhertel.com), and Paula Bartosiewicz (www.bartosiewiczphotography.com), have all donated their services as well.
