The JJ Academy at Musket Ridge

JJ academy logo

The JJ Academy at Musket Ridge is a new non-profit partnership between the club and World Long Drive Tour Professional Josh Jackson. Josh serves as both a mentor and teaching professional to JJ Academy juniors, as well as host for the inaugural JJ Academy benefit tournament--save the date for Thursday, May 9th, 2024! You can learn more about Josh on his website, and be sure to follow him on Instagram and Facebook too.

The mission of the JJ Academy is to grow the game in Maryland through nurturing local disadvantaged juniors ages 6-16 who have an interest in golf by providing access, instruction, and equipment to introduce them to game. Academy scholarships are awarded to recipients who may lack the resources to learn the game or access to a course where they can practice. Scholarships also cover travel expenses and tournament entry fees for JJ Academy members who would like to play competitively. Scholarships are funded by the generosity of sponsors, donations, and proceeds from the yearly "Get in the Game" tournament. All donations are handled by the 501c3 "Musket Ridge Junior Academy" and are fully tax deductible.
